Michael Hodel began his career in 2000 in Berlin working
as a brand consultant for clients like Renault, Kraft
Foods or the West LB with the crossmedia-agency "im
stall" and partly with the advertising agency TBWA
Berlin.
In
2002, he joined the dmmv, the German Association for
Multimedia and Internet (today, the Federal Association
for the Digital Economy - BVDW), one of the biggest
associations in its field in Europe. As a consultant
for e-commerce, e-marketing and European projects he
was responsible for several internal & collaborative
projects, including the E-Accelerator, for which he
developed a marketing strategy. Furthermore, he coordinated
the Accelerator's activities throughout Germany and
Northern Europe. In 2002 and 2003, Michael was the representative
of the German Ministry of Economics at the German Pavillion
of the E3 Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, California.
During the same period, he accompanied more than 30
German companies to the United States to help them finding
new clients, partners, etc.
From
2004 to 2005, Michael was Marketing Consultant at the
online media and marketing agency Spacedealer. After
having worked as Concept Director for MRM Worldwide
(McCann Erickson Worldgroup) in 2005, Michael is running
now his own business in the field of account management,
marketing strategy, marketing concept and international
business development in Berlin.
Michael
studied political science, communication science and
business management at the Universities of Bamberg and
Berlin.
