Patrick
Corsi manages KINNSYS in Brussels - the Enterprise Innovation
Management consultancy aiming at building profitable
and sustainable innovations. He co-authored books on
marketing and innovation. Within the European Commission,
he originated link-up mechanisms between start-up projects
and venture and investment firms in 1995, later to be
known as 'European Investment Forums'.
From his early settling in Silicon Valley as an IBMer
in 1979, Patrick always served in international environments
within large and small industries:
- developed advanced office equipment, then communication
devices at IBM France;
- managed COGNITECH's Technology Transfer Dept., the
Paris based AI business leader through the mid-80's;
- directed the Advanced Studies Dept. of THOMSON-CSF
software subsidiary SYSECA in St-Cloud in the late 80's;
- managed European R&D teams within advanced international
industrial projects;
- Monitored the European AI R&D projects portfolio
as a Senior Project officer within the European Commission
through the 90's;
- has often been appointed as an external expert to
the EU since 1988.
A frequent speaker and writer with wide experience in
evaluating proposals, monitoring and assessing projects
in most economic sectors, Patrick lectured at six European
Universities since 1977 and is currently an Associate
Professor at ISTIA Innovation, Univ. of Angers.
Trained by Belgium's leading SOLVAY SME Business &
Entrepreneurship School in 2002-03, Patrick has previously
obtained a Ph.D. from Institut National Polytechnique
de Grenoble en Génie Informatique in 1979, had
graduated as an Engineer from Ecole Nationale Supérieure
d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées
of Grenoble and obtained a Maîtrise de Mathématiques
et Applications Fondamentales from Univ. of Marseilles.
